Dodge Viper Gts Buyer's Guide
Well I finally did it this December. I got my dream car. Ever since I was 7 or 8 I always wanted Dodge Vipers and finally this one fell into my lap. I have a Corvette before that I sold to my friend and he found me this car. It was a friend of his cousin who bought a house and need the cash so I DEAL a. I bought it with 16.9k 17.6k miles and I got over it already. I work 60 hours a week and I thought fuck you only get one chance to enjoy life so I'll do it right.
This is a beast and it feels like a street legal race car. All performance and is no longer a problem. This is a car demanding and requires your full attention to driving difficult but so tribute to push this car. Up firm and tight steering. Clutch and shifter are surprisingly ordinary compared to the sporty car.
The best part about it though is that I bought so cheap I would not loose money after have it, these cars hold their price well. Since "collector car" full insurance just $ 100 per year so that the cost for having cheap too.
Anyway I just thought I would share some pics of it, think this is the right place. Also please note that came on the car wheels were sold and it will get some right CCW Sp600s immediately. They are not my style, and while they were better than the stock that much for flashy for my taste. Really awesome! Be careful with the beast! Do not try cornering Some say trying to change will void the warranty, all we know is that it it runs fast.
Haha, reminds me of the episode of Top Gear when they ask Reliant Robin Afficinados about how they go about roundabout - "directly though on the grass" Viper is actually pretty good angle. If you can drive it, it is very useful and can run on just about anything on the track. It's just not tolerate incompetence. No. One. A little.
Bit. If you are asked to do something without knowing exactly what you're asking to do, it will bite you and then will ask you what the hell you want to do now ... knowing full well that you do not have an answer and when you answer incorrectly, the will bite you again.
It's a few cars. I highly recommend finding a school HDPE and take some lessons. If you do not, one day you will think you really understand the car and you will let your guard down, and then it will show just how evil it really can.
This is very good advice. Viper that has an insane amount of grip. Ring holds the record for a reason. But it's not the car forgive the slightest. I learned that the hard way ... It is a passenger in a supercharged Viper 2nd Gen. Make some 700hp with meth injection. Sounds great, scared the shit out of me, dyno'd just under 950 to 200 shots. I'll stick with my turbo V6. I want to live to 50.
How much do you give for it? It was also my dream car, I want to buy one in the next few years 30k with 16k miles. I've rated at around 42-45k. Yes thats why I bought it. Nearly perfect and original paint, marks here and there on the chin at the very bottom. No accident clean title and car fax. Come with high flow cats, corsa catback, intake, tints, and these wheels plus stockers. I could not go wrong ......
This is good advice. But almost no one can replace you at least with the stock pads EBC green something like that would be a massive improvement. Bearing factory want to lock tear under braking at high speeds of 120 mph or more quite "interesting". Brake pads factory and front lock waaaaay more than tears, biased heavily skewed towards the front.
If you do not keep track of it, just go with tom 40mm upgrade to the rear caliper. It will get your stopping distance down with the best of each upgrade kit, so long as you only need to do one or two times ... If you track the car, stop the kit technology is the way to go to fight the heat. I will say though you can do a lot of things even with the stock setup, and if you are good you will be faster than a lot even with a big brake kit.
Do you have an accident? Or the gap between the bumper and hood (especially around lights) are usually great? It is no accident, but a good eye. It needs to have a customized front shims and move a little light. The cars were all built by hand, the bad, so that alignment is achieved with a collection of shims under the hood that makes up for any inconsistencies in the form of panels. It's ultra-common problem in older cars (affects about 60% of them) and mega expensive to repair (about 8 hours of work, skilled specialist Viper body normally get $ 120-200 / hr).
We made a video on how to do it in two weeks, because even people who have had this problem for more than a decade, there is no documentation available online on how to do it. Wow. TIL. Best of luck with the fix and video.
I'm sure some owners would really appreciate it. Thank you. It really took a lot of courage to decide to do it this way; I was able to fix the real, and there is comfort in knowing that the pros will do it. But you google the problem, there is such a thread 50 questions, all with no answer on how to do it. People need these instructions, so I gave it a shot.
It's not really difficult, per se, it's just adjusting, check, and adjust again. I hope the video will take the guess work out and even speed up the process, not only is this a common problem, but it is common for one side sag in exactly the way my car is loose; I can find some threads VOA / VCA with this exact problem in a few minutes.
All the people will appreciate fix that does not cost $ 2K as well. whether the collision cover? AAA have something like that too, but it's only for the time saved and theres no collisions unless I called and add it. permaneninduk link I hope you know insurance plan requirements.
I believe most of the policies that include car billed only allows the car to be driven to certain events, shows or simply for a number of miles per year (5000 if you are with state farm I believe). beyond that, you have to make sure as a pleasure vehicle normal. the low level of ridiculous that you get.
